Waterford Champagne Flutes

Since the very earliest days of the company, Waterford Cystal have procuced the most elegant and stylish of Champagne glasses.  Tradition used to dictate that Champagne should be drunk from shallow ‘saucer’ glasses.  But in recent times, these have been superceded by the more elegant and practical Champagne Flutes or Toasting Flutes.  The availability of Waterford Flute Champagne glasses are not however restricted the usual suites of glasses such as Lismore and Colleen.  They are also make perfect ‘celebration’ gifts in their own right.  There are glasses to toast events such as a great success, or an anniversary or an engagement.  There are also glasses to be collected year by year such as the Christmas Toastin Flute.  There is one for each line of the song “A Partridge In A Pear Tree”.  Every year, a new pair is launched.  At the time of writing, we’re now up to Glass Number Eight, namely, Eight Maids a Milling.
